FVMQ (Fluorosilicone)
Overview
FVMQ (Fluorosilicone) contains trifluoropropyl groups next to the methyl groups.
The mechanical and physical properties of Fluorosilicone are very similar to VMQ (Silicone).
However, FVMQ offers improved fuel and mineral oil resistance but poor hot air resistance when compared with VMQ.
This material has an operating temperature range from -50°C to +200°C in air.
Fluorosilicone tends to be used for static applications for Seals, O-Rings, Flange Seals, Energisers & Gaskets.
Competitive lead times & pricing from Lanson Polymers allied with our vast experience in the design & supply of critical seals & components into a variety of markets will allow you to specify the optimum solution for your application.
